You're right, though. Miss Greengrass was very intrigued when she learned about her mother and me... back last term, it was. No doubt she got a bit carried away with the possibilities. I'm sure that's all that it is. She's at that age where you also fancy the notion that you might not really belong where you are, after all. And she is theatrical, as you say. Memorably so.
